Along with Team USA who will win the Gold medal. A Bronze medal will not be awarded as there are still decisions pending. Canada appeals ISU's decision to give Russian Olympic Commitee the Bronze medal.

"Why do you still fight against me?"

The demon in front of you snarls, eyes ablaze and claws gripping your table. His tail thrashes in frustration at you keeping your distance. You were the complete opposite of him...

Why wouldn't he taint you?

"You say excuse after excuse whenever I come to you! You say we're on different teams, you say you don't like me!"

The incubus stalks closer, narrowing his eyes.

"You said your team prevents us from finally giving into each other...."

"Give it up, demon, I will not succumb to you."

"Can you really be so sure, dear? Not many can refuse the presence of an incubus~"

"Then find someone else."

"I don't WANT someone else!"

The demon roars, walking behind you and tracing his claws along your back.

"I want you... just think about it."

Claws drift to your shoulder, his tail wrapping around your waist. He leans his head into your shoulder, a cheshire grin across his face. You feel yourself heat up but refuse to admit it.

"You could have everything. I could do whatever you wish with you... yet..."

He traces his claws from your shoulders to your front.

"They will never let us be together unless we make them."

"Cut it out!"

You scowl before removing yourself from his grip, the incubus frowning at the fact his charm didn't work.

"You're pretty tough to crack, BLU."

Ludwig, the name of the demon taunting you, refuses to leave you alone, however.

"I know you will at some point, all humans succumb to desire. It's such a hot feeling, pooling into places you wish it didn't. Like the cheeks, and the-"

"I'm going to stop you right there."

"You're no fun... embarrassed?"

"Uncomfortable."

"It's a start, I suppose."

You groan and try to ignore the incubus. You hated how he made you feel. He was getting to you, but you needed to stay strong.

"... I can smell you, y'know."

"What!?"

Ludwig grins again before darting to your side.

"Why, of course! Incubi can sense all the smells you humans give off. I know I'm breaking your shell, (Y/N)."

A gloved hand encases your own, you feel so small compared to him.

"Soon I'll have you laid down on that table, all ready for me..."

His other hand traces your cheek, bringing you closer to his fanged mouth.

"I'm going to engrave myself into your very being."

You push at him but he just brings a claw to your chest.

"I want to claim you as mine. You'll be so covered in my scent you'll never forget me."

His tongue licks at your skin and it feels like he's scalded you.

"Come on, feed me. You know you want to. I'm just starving for that sweet energy of yours...."

"Ow... no!"

You again release yourself from him to prevent yourself from being overwhelmed. Ludwig glares at you before sighing.

"Fine. Play hard to get. It won't change a thing."

He sits himself on a chair in your operating room, grinning.

"I'm not leaving. You're mine and you'll see that soon enough."

Ludwig's laugh chills you to the bone, the gaze he gives you with glowing orange eyes unnerves you.

"You're stuck with me. You might as well make the best of it, BLU~"

Sota in first and Shoma in second after the short program. My mind is launched back towards the 2014-2015 season when they were among the top competitors on the JGP circuit and looking like they were going to be the friendly rivalry of the upcoming cohort of junior Japanese skaters (before Sota had what looked like it might be a career ending injury).

That was a messy short program, and it’s still pretty wide open. I feel bad for everyone who had a major fall. Some of those looked like they hurt.

 I’m predicting Shoma wins it still, Sota silver, and either Adam or Kazuki bronze, but I could easily see Nika or Junhwan fighting their way back up to the podium. And who knows, maybe all the top skaters will be disasters tomorrow and we will get something completely unexpected.

Holding Hands to Tomorrow

Obtainability: Limited to purchasing from the Support Point shop during Madoka’s Birthday (October 2022).

MLB Effect: HP Restore [35%] (Self) & Defense Up [37.5%] (Self / 3 Turns)

Effect Definitions:

HP Restore will instantly restore health to the character upon activating the effect.

Defense Up increases the target’s base defense stats. Defense Up is generally worse than Damage Cut.

TLDR: This memoria is Enhancement Fodder for most players. It can see use in Magia Stall strategies but otherwise is outclassed by more offensive gameplay.

Review: “Holding Hands to Tomorrow” has a few possible uses but is largely forgettable. It’s a defensive memoria in a game that doesn’t reward defensive strategies-- you are almost always better off going with more offense than defense in this game. 

With that said, it gives a high amount of Defense up for three turns. This actually puts it in the same range as several limited and unlimited memoria:

You’ll note that the only memoria that have higher Defense Up all last for one turn or have some features that make them less desirable to use outside of special circumstances. This makes this memoria useful at least for purely defensive purposes-- you don’t need to worry about lower stats like you would with the three-star options and the fact that it will last for three turns means your equipped unit can stay safer for longer.

When comparing effects, Defense Up isn’t generally as good as Damage Cut for a character’s protection, but still-- 37.% Defense Up can still help a character survive and it’s better than nothing.

The HP Restore on this memoria is useful, but note that it is different from something like Regenerate HP. The HP Restore will apply to your character right away, while Regenerate HP will apply after the enemy’s turn is over. This can be good or wasteful. It means that this is a good “oh-shit” memoria to press if a character is in danger of dying, but it also means that you’ll waste the HP Restore if you’re trying to take preventative measures.

Because of how defensive this memoria is, it’s best used on Tanks and in Magia Stall Teams. It’s cooldown is too long to be of use in areas like Mirrors or Ranking and it offers nothing helpful for places like Kimochi.

The last thing to note would be that there is another memoria in the game that is exactly the same as this one:

If you already have a lot of really good memoria and don’t need to rely on defensive strategies such as Magia Stall, you can treat “Holding Hands to Tomorrow” as Enhancement Fodder. However if you do struggle or if you’re just starting out, keep this memoria around.

I got an idea for a Halloween prompt, how about an Engineer with a S/O who is a Medic bot? Like he notices how different they are from the rest of their fellow bots, instead of healing/attacking they choose to run away like a skittish cat, almost as if they're... Afraid... This piques the engineer's interest a lot as he never knew bots could feel emotions until he encountered Bot S/O out in the field

Sure! This could've been written as a short but I noted it as a concept, so I'll just do that to try not to stress my workload too much! Hope you enjoy Day 8 of Spooky Month!

(Halloween Event - Husk)

Concept

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Kidnapping, Hacking, Brainwashing (?), Odd fixation for robots, Forced relationship.

- Dell didn't think robots really had feelings.

- Sure, he had his own creations that he treated like his babies, but he didn't think they were sentient enough for emotions.

- He thought these money bots acted the same way.

- Just powered husks of scrap metal that have only one motive, carnage.

- He's never seen them shy away from their duty, before.

- Not until Dell noticed you, a Medic-Bot that appeared to be malfunctioning.

- That's all he thought of it at first, you were a glitch in the system.

- The differences between you and other Medic-Bots really start to show when Jane Doe shot away the Heavy-Bot you were healing.

- You didn't attack, you ran.

- You wheeled away as fast as your axel could take you.

- Dell watched in shock as you tried your best to hide from his team, shaking and beeping out "No" when they came close.

- Taking this as the perfect way to research how bots like you work, Dell most likely takes you to his little workshop by force.

- He either knocks you out and damages you just enough to shut you off, or tries to coax you to follow him.

- If he chooses to herd you it's a lot like guiding a lost sheep.

- In a way that is what you are-

- A sheep lost from its herd, while Dell plays the role of your new shepherd.

- He doesn't care too much with being 'gentle' at first.

- He's convinced you don't feel pain even if you do feel emotions.

- There's a good chance you'll feel afraid of him at times.

- Dell's a bit too rough with his examinations and it frightens you.

- Once Dell concludes his tests and deduces you do in fact feel emotions, you're still acting like a frightened animal.

- For once, towards a hunk of metal, Dell feels sympathy.

- He gives you a soft smile before picking up a few tools.

- "Sorry I didn't believe you were sentient, darling. This ain't a common thing to happen. I'll try to be better with this."

- Dell then alters your coding to keep you docile around his team.

- A new coat of paint, altering teams, system scans, the whole thing.

- By the end of it you feel like an entirely new bot.

- You still are skittish around Dell and his cohorts, yet you slowly learn to trust them.

- Dell may even start to get attached to you.

- In a way, he's sort of claimed you as his.

- That new coat of paint? Those new parts? Those were all done by him.

- You are his newest and maybe even the best creation he's ever worked on.

- You can't comprehend the feelings he feels towards you.

- Dell may be falling in love with you yet you don't understand it.

- You just think Dell is a clingy human that you should consider your friend.

- It's not like you can feel the warm touch of him on your metal.

- That or understand the deep mechanisims of love he expresses towards you.

- You only give him blank stares.

- Dell knows you can express emotions like fear and other basic emotions.

- Is it too out there for him to hope you can feel love too?

- Sure, maybe you don't understand the words he says to you.

- You don't understand how enamoured he is with your machinery....

- But a man can dream, yes?

- He doesn't care what his team thinks-

- He doesn't care if they want to get rid of you, either.

- You're his and he plans to keep it that way.

- If anyone else thinks otherwise...

- They'll be at the end of his gun.
