Hi everyone, this is from our summary of the 2024 ISU Congress and it is incorrect. We have removed it from our post and apologize for the confusion it has caused. Those PCS bullet points are still included in the official definition, only the order of the bullet points was changed.
Here is the full text of the proposal from the ISU Congress Agenda.

what's left in that joke of a component then...?

Note
Out of curiosity before this season if a skater landed a quint jump in competition when it didn’t have points yet would that mean the jump would have been invalid and not counted or would the panel have made up points on the spot? I understand the flip side of it like if they did a double jump in the short instead of a triple or quad.
It probably wouldn’t receive any points. I don’t think the panel making up a BV on the spot sounds very probable. All changes to technical rules are discussed by the ISU Technical Committees before they are official. It would set a poor precedent if someone who did an element with no BV suddenly got one that was just made up for that competition.
