so we're like 99% sure the "you have a brother" conversation shown in the teaser of ep 9 already happened the night sean and white slept together and we just didn't see it, right?
my question now is why would they cut it from this episode, just to show it later as a flashback? (I know p'nuchy said it's "because the ep was already too sweet" or wtv but ruler number 1 is never trust the writers/directors about potential spoilers)
the show not showing us sean's convo with gumpa would have the purpose of putting us in white's pov when sean finally revealed the truth - the audience would be along with white for the surprise.
but now, white is part of the scene that was cut; so the surprise the audience must feel is for who?
that made me remember the bts spoiler of sean and gumpa's convo, and how some of gumpa's lines were kinda weird.... especially when he says something like "maybe they don't love/like each other (that's why they wouldn't say the have a twin)".
that's kind of a weird assumption to make, isn't it? kinda a loaded statement?
but then the white and black reunion happened and black iced out white from the gang pretty fast.... obviously it's because black DOES love his brother and is just very worried about his safety, but... sean doesn't know that.
so, my working, tbh a reach but i'm having fun, theory: black will come back to the gang and sean will notice it's not white. that's when we get the flashback of sean's convo with gumpa: to make us understand why sean will think black doesn't get along with his brother. maybe we'll have a confrontation between them both (tbh i just want to watch them beat each other up for a few mins). then that'll be the motivation for sean to go looking for white. maybe that's when we get the second flashback, to his conversation with white, because that scene actually has something relevant to how they'll find each othe again.
