Hungry Fox | Void Stiles
Tumblr media
Summary: So much pain bundled up inside you made you the perfect prey for the spirit that possessed your best friend. It was that much chaotic that Stiles had caused some of the heart ache that dwelled in your chest.
Weak. It was a word you hated. But that's how you were treated, like a fragile human being that couldn't protect themselves. A damsel in distress was another way you could put it, seeing as that's how your friends always made you feel.
Being human was a bad thing, you were one of only three in the McCall pack. However Allison could protect herself, there was no doubt about it. And Stiles was impressively smart. What were you? Nothing, an uneccessary person in their eyes.
But you loved them all despite your insecurities, no matter how much doing so pained you. You would never be like them unless Scott one day decided to bit you out of the blue, but that wouldn't happen. He was too noble to ever do such a thing. The alpha saw it as ruining ones life, but it'd only improve yours.
And now there was another threat lurking in the town of Beacon Hills, one that was dressed in the skin of a friend. It was called the Nogitsune. It was an ancient fox spirit, that fed off pain, chaos and strife. A breed of kitsune that was so dark and cruel that it was almost separate from them.
Kira was a kitsune with no cruel intentions, or so you hoped. So far, you had barely spoken to her, she was too taken with Scott to notice you. But she seemed nice, as they all did from the outside.
Even being a misjudged kitsune had to be better than being a vulnerable, weak human. You watched the you love flail for the attention of a banshee, completely disregarding you as a possible alternative.
Lydia was perfect. She was everything you weren’t. The redhead was gorgeous and had the attention of almost every guy she met, although the only one you were jealous of was Stiles. She was incredibly intelligent, and had only began to show it in regards to Stiles noticing it.
Stiles didn’t bring out the best in you however. The worst rushed to the surface whenever his name reached your mind. You became insecure about everything, each of your qualities became a terrible flaw.
And so here you were, looking out your window, with tears that matched the streaks of rain that slid down the panes. It hurt. You weren’t even second best, you were last.
A crash from somewhere downstairs startled your lost gaze, making you tear your spilling eyes from the flooding street. As a precaution, you grabbed a bat, and then headed cautiously down the stairs.
It was a vase that had fallen, breaking into large ceramic shards. Broken, like your heart.
You held the bat tighter, prepared to swing it at any possible intruder. But then you saw him.
Stiles.
But he had a severe redness beneath his eyes, stating his lack of sleep, and his eyes were dark. And from the amused look he gave you, you knew it wasn't Stiles. It was the imposter that stole his body.
"He really has rubbed off on you." The sight of you relying on a bat against him amused Void. If you could use it to damage him in the slightest.
"Don't talk about him." You warned him, glaring at the evil spirit with empty malice in your eyes.
"He's hurt you." He quipped, whipping through the memories that were in Stiles' head.
You were always there, at the side lines, watching out and caring for the boy. It almost repulsed him, and it would have if you hadn't been in so much pain. It was impossible to deny his statement, if you did then it would be nothing short of a lie.
“But it’s deeper than that.” Void noted, twitching his neck as he studied your fragile yet defensive state. “He has scarred you, left a permanent mark upon you even though he isn’t aware of the damage that he has done to you, little one.”
Breathing in, you tried not to allow his accusations to anger you, but you couldn’t help your next move. You swung the bat towards his face, but no contact was made with it.
Instead, the Nogitsune had caught your strike, and twisted your grip on the bat, discarding it on the ground.
“That didn’t go to plan.” He smirked, causing you to gulp in fear. He could smell it, which only made him that more enticed by your attachment to Stiles.
“What is it you want from me?” You tried to stand your ground, but you staggered back as he made closer advances.
“A fox has got to eat, and your pain fits my appetite just right.” He grabbed you by the waist, drawing your lips to his, quite forcefully on his part.
You tried to move away, but he had backed you up into the wall. Pushing him was useless, so you shut your eyes and let him feed himself off of your suffering.
He pulled away, and you opened your eyes to find that he was gone. You felt lighter, from both relief that the non consented kiss was over and from the removal of pain.
But your lips felt heavier, you could feel bruises forming over their pillowing. Quickly, you grabbed your phone, dialling one number.
The person whom you were calling understood you, he was often in the background, ignored. “Isaac...”
“(Y/N), is everything alright?”
“He was here. Void.”

Eichen | Part Three
Tumblr media
Scott watched as Stiles paced around the room. He had just heard from his dad after he left the crazy house that you were gone. Missing. And to him, it didn’t feel like a coincidence.
“This is why I didn’t want to tell her anything, Scott!” He had noticed since his possession that he was angrier. Anything could set him off, it wasn’t like he wanted to yell at Scott. But he was so worried, he could not help himself. “And now she’s probably Void’s captive.”
He ruffled his own hair with his hands. It felt better now that he was separated from that monster, but somehow they were still linked. A part of him believed they always would be.
Gulping, Scott thought. He didn’t want to say anything that would deter his friends any more. “Maybe she just got out by herself, she’s always been smart Stiles.”
Stiles shook his head, instantly disagreeing with his best friend.
“That’s not it Scott. No matter how much she hated it in Eichen, she wouldn’t attempt to escape, I know her. She felt safe, like the walls kept the monsters out, but I was the one that let them in.”
“No matter where she is, we’ll find her.” He was a werewolf, he could track you. He just needed your fresh scent.
“Exactly Scott, where is she?” Strangely, he almost seemed more worried for your disappearance than Lydia’s, but that wasn’t possible, right?
….
Tilting your head, you watched Void’s stoic expression. “The banshee is at the gates.” He voiced, emotionlessly. You remembered whenever Stiles would speak, there would always been some kind of passion behind his words.
But as you had learnt, your old friend was a no good liar. He allowed you to believe that you were insane, until you found out the truth for yourself and then some.
The spirit helped, he convicted you what the truth was, and you had no doubts about it now.
“If she’s here, then the rest of the pack will shortly be along.” You presumed, shifting tighter to Void’s cold side. It felt like you were connected to him, and you probably were.
The fact drew a smirk upon your face. You wanted to see Stiles, show him that you didn’t need him or his pity or his lies.
“You’re a smart vixen.” He slid closer to you, running the bumps of your noses against each other. “Which is exactly why I chose you. There’s more intelligence in there than those wolves run around in their heads. At one time or another, they have all underestimated you my dear, but we will show them that you a force to be reckoned with.”
“Hurt me.” You whispered, a devil dancing in the glints of your eyes.
“Why would I ever want to do that, they are the ones that have heart you my elegant fox.” At his words you shook your head, leaning up so that you could see into his dark eyes that bit better.
“They think that I’m a victim. We can trick them into thinking I am.” You were surely adapting to his ways and so he leaned down, pulling your bottom lip into his mouth and puncturing it with his strong teeth.
The blood was leaking down your chin and he licked his lips, lightly moaning at the taste. In an instant you fell to your knees, leaning into the wall and let the fake tears fall.

Eichen - Stiles Stilinski x Reader (and Void Stiles)
Tumblr media
Summary: When Stiles admits himself to Eichen, he doesn’t only recognise Malia. There is another old face in the crazy house, one that he has missed dearly.
Mentally unstable was how the doctors described you, as if they were blaming your own mind for your condition. It wasn’t your fault that you had broken down in the big wide world, once you found out that it was much wider and diverse than you had initially thought.
There had been a creature, one that looked like a combination of lizard and man that had led to your lock up. It had paralysed you, and then it killed your father. You couldn’t move to stop it, you remained immobile on the floor, watching as it struck his neck with its poisonous claws.
A kanima, it was called. It made your life hell, by sending you there. There was so much that you had to leave behind, your friends being the most prominent one.
“Who’s that?” Stiles asked Oliver, looking over at your form. Your back was facing them, your hair trailing down it. It had felt like centuries since you had gotten a hair cut.
“Oh we call her Liz, short for Lizard.” It admittedly wasn’t the nicest courtyard name, but over the year you had gotten used to it. The stupid name was probably the most pleasant thing about being locked up in the loony bin.
Oliver laughed after he spoke. He found it funny that was how people addressed you.
“Is that her real name?” Stiles had an inkling of a feeling that it wasn’t. Especially since it was short for ‘Lizard’. Oliver only laughed again.
“Yeah, but no one calls her by it. Even the guards call her Liz.” Stiles couldn’t help himself, he felt a pull towards the girl. Her silhouette was familiar and he felt a need to inspect it. He began walking towards her, leaving Oliver behind.
“Whoever you are, I won’t hesitate to scratch your eyes out.” Even your voice was familiar to Stiles. You blindly didn’t know who was behind you, but you weren’t about to fake ignorance. In Eichen, you had to always be alert.
“I’m Stiles.” He offered you his name, which only caused you to spin. His eyes widened at the sight of you. You definitely weren’t called Liz. “(Y/N) what are you doing here?”
You fell into his arms. He looked a little different, he was taller, his face slimmer and his hair longer, but you would recognise this boy anywhere. “My mum sent me here. What are you doing here Stiles?”
“It was seeing the kanima, wasn’t it?” Just the mention of it made your skin crawl, but that was about all the reaction you gave. Somehow, you hadn’t gone crazy, you had only witnessed the insane.
“You saw it too?” You tilted your head up at the boy, worrying for his mental health. Seeing it certainly hadn’t done yours any good.
“Yeah. It’s great to see you though, we all missed you so much. We miss you. After your dad, we figured your mum took you out of town.” He wasn’t wrong, not completely anyway.
“She did leave, she just dumped me here on her way out.” The memory made you feel rejected. Just the thought of Bruinski dragging you through echo house made you wince. You never wanted to be here, no one in there right mind would. “But you didn’t answer the question. Why. Are. You. Here?”
His eyes darted around the slabs beneath your feet. “I’m not well.”
“This place isn’t going to help Stiles. If I were you, I’d get out while I still could.” You left him there for Oliver to find, going in search of Malia so that Stiles could rake over your words.
…..
The kanima had left your nightmares, instead it was replaced by a fox. You’d always thought foxes were cute and sweet creatures, but this one made you want to run. It was furry with red aggression, and it snapped its silver teeth at you.
You shot up in your bed, thankful that you were in a one person cell. Echo house kept everyone awake at night, the shadows were unsettling and so were the spirits that patrolled the walls, circling where they had once died or been treated. Death, treatment, it was the same thing here.
“Foxes are intelligent creatures you know.” An intruder spoke from the edge of your bed, making you jump.
“Why aren’t you in your room Stiles? If you’re found -”
“I know the consequences, my vixen.” He sounded sleep deprived, and must have been considering his words. “Did you know that an ancient spirit once stayed in this room, under a human’s skin of course?”
“Go back to your room Stiles.” But he was too busy watching a firefly to listen to you. It seated itself on the wall, crawling on the bricks and buzzing at him.
“There’s more than one type of fox, but there’s always a stronger breed within a species. The Nogitsunes were once powerful, they didn’t need to use teenagers as vessels. They had soldiers at their disposal, but I think you’ve been through enough pain to relate to trauma.”
“Just shut up and go to bed.” You were growing uncomfortable with Stiles’ monologue. Somehow he knew what you had been dreaming about and it made you shuffle back to the head of your bed.
The firefly darted into your mouth as you gaped at the body of your old friend. You choked on the insect as it worked its way into your system. “A perfect match.” The Nogitsune stated.
