also I love that all the female characters in Crimson Peak have Grandma Names

not just traditional or classic names. oh no. they could have gone the easy route of Elizabeths, Catherines, Julias, etc. that were very popular back then and have become Timeless now

instead they went balls to the wall Can You Tell It’s 1901 with (un-nicknamed) Edith, Lucille, Eunice, Beatrice, Pamela, Margaret, and Enola. and that is beautiful

#crimson peak #reminds me of browsing Ancestry.com and seeing a sea of those 'timeless' names during the 19th century #which makes sense- they're that popular now for a reason #and then some absolute mad lad sneaks in a Hepzibah or a Clarice or a Roena #Yes Good #tell me this human was born in 1850 without telling me etc.
