Hi!
Are there enough photos to make a slavegirl chestplates with visible black background and gold appliques photoset? Both versions of the original world tour, early german ones, the ones originating in toronto (probably missing some). I've been looking through photos lately and I think those look amazing and that it's been a while since any were made on a simmilar style.
I kinda feel the opposite, that this has become the new prevalent style. It was by advice/order of the UK supervisor they implemented this for both the Danish revival and the pimped/new German costumes: less gold, more black (which, interestingly, they don’t do in the UK). Thus for the Danish revival the bodices all got the same look as can be seen in Sibylle Glosted’s bodice:
The German costumes remodeled/pimped/redecorated for the Brazilian revival also showed the same tendency. Lina Mendes in bodice 1:
Lina Mendez in bodice 2:
Giulia Nadruz:
Similar look implemented for the Suttgart production back in the days, and also done for Essen, the Hamburg revival, and Oberhausen:
Another recent production to do this was the Russian one (and the almost-production in France as they used many of the same costumes). Not the best of photos, but here’s one of Regina Schukina in Moscow:
And a bodice on display for press day in Paris
The Canadian ones with distinct collar shape and very varying degree of gold - here’s one of my favourites, worn by Teresa de Zarn:
And yes the World Tour ones, with the distinct gold rosettas and gems:
Last but not least: The Japanese ones, which do red with a dash of gold on black surface:
I hope that gave you some inspiration! :)

Tried to recolor and restore this newspaper clipping of Teresa de Zarn and Doug LaBreque from the Canadian Tour circa 1993. I’m not 100% happy with it but I’m done tinkering with it for now.
Read about Doug’s excellent thoughts on Raoul here

...sometimes I photoshop...
The gorgeous photo of Teresa de Zarn was cut and had a big logo on top. I merged it with two other Christine photos from Canada; the legs of Elizabeth de Grazia and the hand of Glenda Balkan, and voilà!
(yes, I spent a ridiculous amount of time on this... so please credit if reposting elsewhere... If I see “Source: Pinterest” I’m gonna cry)
