We're not just learning the Nemeth (braille math), we're reviewing using the Cranmar abacus for the blind. She's been remote this week and learning the nemeth signs needed for the Pythgorean Theorem. For Friday Fun Day (earned when the week's homework is complete) we used Zoom to make our own abacus. I spread out on my office floor to create a way to make one with cardboard, pipe cleaners, tape and beads, etc. Then I took supplies to her house so she could follow along and make her abacus this morning.
