#terry pratchett was SOOO very good at writing about. darker topics and so good at balancing it appropriately w humour or lighthearted stuff#the stuff w blouse saying polly et all could not POSSIBLY disguise themselves as women is always so fucking funny#coupled w the fact that they do indeed immediatyely get clokced when they try it#i love it so much#but then in the same book. theres the bit when tonker is like yeah lofty killed two people but they were awful and got her pregnant#and the whole thing w wazzer.#not to mention the Horrors Of War#and geneder roles etc#anyways. yeah. one of my faves. always a joy to read#delete later
