So I've wanted to do something with this audio for a while. I should be writing, but my brain went "This will be quick." and then 7 hours later BAM we have this.

I like to think that before Narinder's ascension to godhood, he just had the two eyes. He was given the Red Crown at an early age, and dealing with all these new powers and becoming accustomed to death was a very tough thing for him to handle. He was around 7-8 years old, and everything leading up to getting the Red Crown was also fairly traumatic as well. Because of all this, his first years as a god were very mentally taxing.

Shamura, being very accustom to war and strife, is very emotionally stunted; so their approach to comforting Narinder was the same as they would take with a follower in battle. Probably not the greatest, but Kallamar was always there to pick up the pieces. Shamura also eventually learned to loosen up, but it was a very large learning curve.

TGOFC Leshy Facts (Chapter 6 Spoilers)

There's so much that goes into each character in my au, and the last chapter I dropped had a bunch of lore for Leshy's character, and I just felt like compiling the minute facts that might be overlooked in light of the story that genuinely bring me joy.

Unlike the other siblings, Leshy was just a regular chaser worm who was evolved into something more human (even though humans aren't a thing in this universe, I can't think of a term that would convey the same thing here) through the power of the Green Crown. The others were like regular people already capable of complex thinking, bipedal etc., who came to find their crown one way or another (I'll go into them more in their own posts), so in comparison Leshy is more unpredictable and overall feral in his actions and mannerisms. He also still has a strong connection with the worms and can communicate with them perfectly fine, giving him an advantage over prior gods of Chaos who couldn't control them at all.

Some examples of him being more animalistic is the fact that he's being prone to biting just because, and still having urges like burrowing underground being more comfortable for him than sleeping in an actual bed, and randomly making strange little noises. He also thinks nothing about eating through and ripping up the floorboards in his house, and has Heket bring him spare lumber to store as a "little snack" when he's too lazy to get up and go to the dining hall and raid the kitchen. Every sibling's homes are reflective of their personalities, and where Heket, Kallamar, Narinder and Shamura have furniture and decor, Leshy's home, though normal looking from the outside, is literally just an empty room with the majority of the floorboards ripped up or gnawed through, looking like a storm ripped through the inside of his home. He has no furniture or decor outside of a few potted plants gifted to him by Tebryn (au yellow cat).

Another thing, and this might be controversial, is that he's actually terrible when it comes to taking care of plants. Almost every plant he owns is either dead, or on the brink of death, but he doesn't really know it since he can't see for himself that they are. He use to be good at it, but that ended up being 100% the Green Crown's power. Having not been capable of thinking past basic animal instincts prior to becoming a god, he can't fathom that he might not actually know what he's doing. Tebryn teases him lightly about it, but also doesn't have the heart to tell him that the plants in his window died months ago. There's one plant that's hanging on by a thread, an overwatered camellia bonsai that's now really just a stick in dirt with 3 leaves, and it only stays alive because Tebryn repots and tends to it when Leshy isn't paying attention. That doesn't stop Leshy from attempting to unintentionally over-trim the tree, much to Tebryn's dismay.

When he was still just a baby up until his toddler years, he would often just run around naked (only covered by leaves) and Heket would struggle to just get him to keep at least his cloak on (there'll be a flashback to a scene like that later on). One second he would be fully clothed, she would look away for just a moment, then look back to see Leshy running away on all fours with his clothes in a trail behind him. Now, if not for the fact that he'd get a lecture from the others on why he needs to stay clothed out in public, he would probably be in the nude 24/7.

As a product of his rapid evolution, his appearance from what chaser worms are in present day is drastically different; since while they evolved over time, he was like a preservation of their past. Like how he burrows into dirt, where they no longer have to due to evolution giving them large horns and a larger/tougher build for protection. Instinctually, he still attaches sticks to his head, which was both a defense mechanism of sorts along with helping with hunting. Being partly burrowed in the ground helped him feel vibrations of things walking near him; and with his head sticking up past the dirt, he looked more shrub-like so predators wouldn't go after him, and also prey would be more inclined to walk near him or use him as shelter, making for easier meals.

I also decided to make him a trans man, because why does Shamura get to be the only trans one (also as a youngest child who's a trans man I decided that my comfort character WILL be trans as well.)? With the help of Kallamar he's able to transition with HRT and other surgeries. Nobody but his siblings know he's trans, and is 100% passing as cis to everyone else. He's also the shortest of all the siblings, followed by Shamura, then Narinder, Heket and Kallamar.

There's definitely more than this, but my god I realized just how long this was getting so I'll end it here unless people want me to make a continuation.

Short animatic based off my fic The God Of Five Crowns on AO3!

After 1 week I finally finished it!!! It's been almost 7 years since I touched anything animation-wise, and originally this was just gonna be a few sketches to help me visualize perspective changes between the Lamb and the Bishop, then I got a bit carried away.

I already have plans for another animatic down the line, because I can't help but bite off more work than I can chew, but first I have to work on other projects with this au!

Animatic is finished!

Here's a small tidbit for a Cult Of The Lamb animatic I'm making! It's of a scene from my fic The God Of Five Crowns.

It's been such a long time since I've picked up animation, and I'm coming to realize just how much I missed it. It was one of those things a teacher killed my passion for, and I just kinda, put it away till recently. Between storyboarding and sound design, I'm having so much fin with this and can't wait to show you all the final piece!

Animatic is finished!!!

Another small clip! I am very close to finishing the animatic I’m working on and I’m so excited to share it! I only have a few more scenes left and a bit more things to tweak sound design-wise, but I think I should be posting it in the next couple of days!

This has been such a fun project for me to get me back into animating again, and have more plans later on for more Cult Of The Lamb themed animation projects!

This is a small little blip from a scene later on in The God Of Five Crowns I used while messing around with the Clip Studio Paint app.

Although I love Procreate, it's limited in what I can do; especially pertaining to outlines and brush specifications being messy and complicated. I like both programs, but I feel like they each have their own strengths. I also disliked the fact that it limited me on the number of layers per document I could use.

I've been playing around with animating a bit the past few days, and though this is just the animatic, I'm working hard on turning this into a full animation!

Excerpt from The God Of Five Crowns

“You call this mercy? Sibling you no nothing of the sort!” Narinder barked, ichor spilling from his lips and down his chin, “A mercy would be found only in my freedom, or my death! This–” He jostled the chains which strained his movements greatly, “This is a punishment worse than death! You take my freedom, and for what?! Because I dared to explore change in the same way every one of you has? Is what I’ve done really so wrong that you’d take everything from me?”

I'm setting up a document with size comparisons for the bishops, and I just finished Leshy's design and placed him on it. I legit cant stop laughing because Heket just looks so done.

Updated Heket design! I wasn't super happy with the initial work outfit I designed, and the biggest part being the lack of a hood.

In light of that, here are a few fun additional headcanons for her in my AU!

She's a big girl and proud of it, also being the second tallest of her siblings (5' 10") outside of Kallamar who's the tallest (6' 8"). She's got muscle and is damn proud of it, even being a bit of a show off in the lumber yard. She has many people in the cult simping after her, especially those working in the lumber yard and the refinery.

With her struggle to verbally communicate, Lambert helped her learn how to sign. Not every follower knows sign language, many hop on board to learn. The biggest problem with this form of communication is the barrier between her and Leshy since he's completely blind. Tebryn (yellow cat) is usually around him out of work and signs fluently, so he usually plays translator for her. When he isn't around, she communicates through few word comments and grunts.

Although she previously put an end to fights Kallamar would pick, she's taken to watching him deal with them on his own as a bit of "tough love".

A few concept sketches from the newest chapter of The God Of Five Crowns!

I had a lot of fun with the chapter, and I'm especially happy with how much progress I've made as far as making fury artwork, which prior to this I had little experience on the more anthropomorphic styles.

The semester is almost over and I’m so excited for a break from school! I have notes jotted down for continuing the next chapter of The God Of Five Crowns, a revised Narinder indoctrination comic in the works, and some plans for more artwork (finishing this one in particular) in general within the 1 month I have off between semesters!

I’m also working on a Leshy re-design, as well as getting around to finally posting Shamura’s design for TGOFC here!

Finally got around to drawing Narinder's design for my au The God Of Five Crowns!

Being the ex god of death, Narinder still has minimal abilities around that, especially pertaining to revival and life. An example of this being spitting out watermelon seeds on the ground and having them immediately start to sprout and grow at an accelerated pace. I'm basing it a lot around The Ritual Of The Harvest in game. He was also very bitter about being dethroned at first, but quickly chilled out when the fact he was actually free set in.

Outside of the four other Bishops, he has 1 biological sibling, Forneus, and the two are fraternal twins. In turn Aym and Baal are his nephews. When he got the Red Crown, it was because Shamura gave it to him as a kit when they killed the prior God of Death. They felt remorse for the fact his whole village was destroyed in their battle; especially when he, rather stupidly in Shamura's opinion, was ready to fight the God of War when they got too close to where him and Forneus were hiding. In trying to look intimidating, Narinder looked more like a kitten with his back arched on all fours, with his fur all fluffed up and big ears pulled back. His ears were very big for the little guy, and he never really grew into them.

Narinder also doesn't know the Lambs name, simply referring to them as "The Lamb." and not Lambert.

Sad Headcanon:

Shamura couldn't bring themself to kill Narinder like they had with the prior God of Death out of love for their sibling. The reason the four other Bishops were so against Narinder messing around with his domain was the risk of their own followers leaving their faith for his. Without followers and devotion, they would all eventually die.

Once all the siblings are reunited in the Lamb's cult, Narinder finds it difficult in varying degrees to see them; especially with avoiding Shamura because after everything was said and done, he feels tremendous guilt for the permanent damage he'd done. It's so difficult for Narinder to see Shamura because he can at least have conversations with them, while Shamura's brain damage makes them lucid only half the time, more often than not being unresponsive and absently knitting while muttering half prophecies to themself.

I haven't posted art in what feels like a while, so here's a rough sketch of a scene I'm currently working on! I'm very excited to post the next chapter when it's done (might get divided into 2 with the way it's going right now, because I just hit the 8000 word mark and still have a lot more to cover).

I've been struggling a bit inspiration-wise with drawing my stories Red Fox, but here's an incomplete sketch of him since I can't seem to finish it. I want to put together a lore post for him, but there's too much involved with his background that would be big spoilers so I'll wait till later in the story for that!

The God Of Five Crowns Ch7

Also I just wanted to give you guys a little chapter update!

I've unintentionally fallen into the pattern of centering each new chapter around the lore of an individual Bishop. It's not a bad thing, just something that I noticed that's mildly interesting. Last chapter was heavily Leshy-centric, and I have a strong feeling that this chapter will be diving into Kallamar a lot.

I say I have a strong feeling because every chapter just kind of develops and changes as I write it. I always have a general idea of what I want to happen, and then I just let the story progress till I get to the point I want. Like, in the middle of a scene I think will go one way can just change suddenly, all because another character decided they need more attention. I don't know how to fully describe it aside from just like, a tiny detail for background ambiance will suddenly become a whole other scene that just ends up fitting into place 10x more than the original idea.

I do want to do a Shamura-centric chapter very soon though, because I absolutely love writing their character and already have an idea behind what I want for it. I'm also excited to build on Heket's role in the story too, because I feel like she's an often slept on character and there's so many ideas I have going for her right now.
