what helped you design your OC that is paired with Dabi?

My initial thought in designing Abiteth came from me wanting her to have a very versatile quirk - something that could be used creatively in most situations, which led to me giving her a plant based quirk (with a pretty significant backlash because otherwise she'd be so overpowered LOL).

What ended up being really nice about that was the fact that her quirk is super complimentary to Dabi's as a result! He can use the flowers and trees she grows as kindling - but, if he ever gets on her bad side (true of Villain Abiteth), then her quirk can be used against him, despite his quirk being advantageous over hers in any situation (ex. if she blooms oleander, Dabi runs the risk of poisoning himself and everyone around him if he sets those blooms on fire because smoke from burning oleander is toxic).

As for her appearance, I really wanted someone who was pastel in color primarily! I chose pink hair because I wanted to give her green eyes and pink+green is such a pretty, spring/flowery color combination~ Her tattoos are brown/pink to run with that spring/floral theme (plus tree bark is brown so it made sense to me!)

This ended up obviously making her look a little similar to Sakura, but I'm not mad about it because I love Sakura <333 - and personality wise, I guess, I wanted a character who was gentle and kind but firm and headstrong when she needed to be (in fact Abiteth can be manipulative at times and has an easy time lying, which is made worse by the fact that she can actually REMEMBER her lies - mostly because she lies for a purpose and not... just because?? Idk if that makes sense but it makes sense to me LOL; tldr, she's a good liar, but she's not a pathological liar!).
