when i first got into the fandom i didn't want to make any content for it despite making consistent fanart for multiple fandoms at that point bc i genuinely thought my acc would get flooded with hate for being c!dream focused/sympathetic 💀💀 and really its one of the main reasons my tiktok art acc died bc i didnt feel like i could post about my hyperfixation without getting mauled. dreblr was a godsend fr and im glad u don't care about the hate !! also what's yout tiktok acc ! 👀

Oh I get this entirely it took me quite a few months until I started posting anything at all and even then I only ever did it here on Tumblr this whole posting anywhere else is a very new experience to me even though I had also written for a buncha fandoms before

This fandom specifically can be so intimidating and honestly for good reason I remember thinking during all those first months that I would get eaten alive for any post and I still think it at times I also have friends who straight up refuse to interact with it at all because they are too scared of the fandom

And I get them, sometimes even with my really very small accounts I get vagued and stuff pretty usually and I understand the people who just wanna avoid that experience all together it can be rather unpleasant

But same Dreblr it's really so godsend if it didn't exist and wasn't already this pretty established thing by the time I got into the fandom I wouldn't have known what to do, I really feel that sensation of not really being able to create things unless they are about your hyperfixiation and mines from the beginning was always a more sympathetic outlook into c!Dream (I tried so hard to get into L'Manberg stuff and c!discduo and c!Wilbur specifically and I just never managed to lol)

I used to be really afraid of getting hate for my stuff but so far it's going pretty well some comments to erase here and there and a buncha accounts to block but it's alright I know there's people who enjoy the fan content I make and that's nice
