This site took eons to allow people to post replies in the notes via their sideblog, which is great to finally have. But I wish there was a way to follow bloggers and leave likes that are from the sideblog too. Hell, give us a sub-dash per sideblog (which I can imagine would be a coding mess within tumblr's already disastrous backend) so people can conveniently tailor their experiences and interactions.
#i enjoy sniffing out old posts from a long running fandom but that's more like a rabbit hole approach#that's akin to the web of the oughts; back when you clicked through webrings and across endless sites#to find all kinds of neat things#doing that on tumblr is a decent approximation of that#but the thing is i don't like constantly revisiting specific blogs because it's hard to shake the sense of being... nosey and rude#i visit two tags for fma stuff and will launch into rabbit hole surfing from there#but manually keeping up with so many individuals over and over as opposed to a seamless dash approach is night and day imo#kinda venting but without much bile#more wishful for a better way to stay cohesive with the fma fandom side of things vs my main's dash#mine#eta: which isn't to imply i find it rude when people poke at my blog this is more my own petty neuroses lol#musing
