“ and he has the nerve to call it love. ” he muttered through gritted teeth, sadness painting perfectly carved features. it darkened the light he gave off until lucifer seemed to think better of it, resting his forehead against raziel’s.

“ you are too good for Him. for this world. even for me. ” he murmured sweetly, wings surrounding them protectively..

The TARDIS landed hard, the wheezing loud and troubled sounding to those who knew how to discern the ship’s emotional state. Doors swung open, smoke billowing out to reveal a stumbling Time Lord - blue eyes bloodshot with overshed tears, leather jacket loose on his form, hair shorter than it had ever been before.

It would be clear to anyone that this man had been through hell. “Loki.” Voice heavy and accent thick and breaking. “I didn’t- I had no where else t’ go.”
