10 Anti LO Asks

1. the idea of how LO couples using colors makes no sense. yes purple and yellow are opposite on the color wheel, but that makes them complimentary aka a good thing, so why is zeus and hera framed as bad? blue and pink are contrasting colors, so why would  hades and persephone be seen as good off colors? even then you have poseidon and amphitrite, who are the same exact colors, which ironically makes them look like siblings because of the lack of character differences. It's just weird.

2. There’s gonna be another Trojan war with comparing all the goddesses to persphone. Apparently no one can match her anything.

4. I know Greek myths are just stories, but there’s one thing I’m not clear about. In the first idk episode of two Poesideon is pissed to see Odeyessus meaning the Trojan war probably already happened, but didn’t Odeyessus have to go down to the underworld and talk to persphone about getting or seeing his crew, and this was when she was already queen of the underworld?

5. I hate in some of the fans say that Aphrodite and Ares are the same. Like they “have an open relationship” BUT idk. Aphrodite slept with Zeus to save her son from punishment, which probably means she didn’t want and was saving her son from his grandpa. BUT ARES gets a free pass with Persphone even tho it makes Aphrodite uncomfortable over and over again. Don’t open relationships have rules if one party is uncomfortable something has to get done? Like Ares was more pissed at his father for sleeping with his gf in order to save their son. And idk of Hephaestus is even part of that drama honestly since LO hardly expands past Hera HXP.

6. PERSPHONE IS NOT MARRED WITH GUILT! She turned another person into a plant after committing a bunch of murders. The plot cannot convince me she cares.

7. why would rachel depict daphne crying and looking to the sky in sadness/fear only to show her happily posing and smiling as a tree? like what?? why is she happy now??

8. I think RS did some backwards hoops when she started writing LO. She was making it seem like some big feminist piece but treats and compares the female characters constantly. Persphone vs Artemis Minthe Aphrodite. Does persphone actually have female friends? Has she noticed anything about Daphne being missing? (I know she’s not in a place to know but that info hasn’t been spread to her yet) the flower nymphs with no names except Brenda? The dead ones who also have no names? That she probably feels more guilty about losing control then her friends dying? Hera? Hera you mean the nymph racist queen who commits adultery just like her husband? Like does persphone have friends or Simps?

9. the wildest part about the elysium stuff in LO is not just how stupid is it to make persephone look better, but are we just supposed to think its ok hades DIDNT make elysium in all that time? so he ruled down there for centuries and instead of creating a fair system and proving he was a good king, he instead enslaved the dead to enrich himself? like is rachel just stupid, because this makes him look a whole lot worse. idk how thats even possible at this point but she somehow managed it.

Can I be real for a minute? It would have been so much better if Smythe just made them original characters instead of mythological figures that people still worship. Make your own universe, you can still take inspiration from Greek mythology and take it into the way LO went. It wouldn’t be good, no no, LO is beyond saving at this point imo. But it wouldn’t piss so many people off like it has. I.E. the Apollo r//e plot wouldn’t have the association with the real Apollo, who’s way better than LO’s, and 180’s absolute mess of an episode.

The God of War franchise follows Greek and Norse mythology and has a following that don’t do anything that LO’s following has done, just saying.
