† ―――― AT THIS POINT XANDER DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE. he thought faith had left a life of crime behind and in the dust but here she was, demonstrating to him that maybe she wasn't all that far gone from that kind of lifestyle. what had happened? did she get caught up with the wrong kind of people again or should he have been a better friend to her? he always put the blame on himself for these kind of things, mostly because his only 'superpower' is being able to see things that other people can't and he can't even do that right. xander looked away, his gaze glued to the ground below his feet as he processed the scenery that he was forced to take in. he looks back up to meet her expression of concern. “ next you're going to tell me the dog ate your homework or that you're just holding onto it for a friend ? kinda heard it all before, faith, and some of it from you. now, why don't you tell me what went down here ? it's not too late, i can help you. i'm not giving up a second time [ .... ] ” he insisted, placing his hands out in plain view so she could see he meant her no harm.
