holy shit i am 40 minutes into this movie and already i am losing my mind
#pp#the 'its raining' that was the trigger for shindo aaaaaa they said the thiiiiing!!!????#i did not know before starting this that it was the in-between for s2 and s3 this is hype tho#when director shindo said the 'its dangerous to dive without a lifeline ' line it immediately clicked who he was#god it's been so long but i never finished rewatching s3#i think i was on the last like first inspector maybe??? the siege of the building#well NOWWW i gotta go back n watch the entire thing again now that there's context#the setting in dejima was so hype too i KNEW i recognized that name as a pp thing#took me a bit to connect it as the location of the first case in s3#this is so good ive been meaning to say smth since watching#the rain line jus rly got my attn tho god i can't wait to maybe see chibi shindo in this
