Have you ever seen this Unicode character inspector? It's a really neat tool for whenever you want to know whats going on behind the scenes of some emoji combinations or some crazy Unicode text stuff.
I bring this up because the asymmetry of the names in the "circle" set really messes me up:

Because, you see, MEDIUM WHITE CIRCLE and MEDIUM BLACK CIRCLE are meant to be part of the same set as LARGE YELLOW CIRCLE and so on (here as 26AA and 26AB, respectively):

But why those two are "medium" while the others are "large", you ask? Well, because it's not their size!

Because it's the thickness of the border, not the size! Well, I'm not 100% on this actually, because 26AA and 26AB are defined on a different part of the standard, but that one doesn't have an explanation for the nomenclature, so I'm going off of this one. Crazy, isn't it!
