does anyone else with ocs ever like idk imagine the like "fandom" surrounding ur characters and just wanna blow everything up
#like ok I already know the reception some of my characters have gotten so its like#thats a fan favorite male side character that people will obsess over his relationships more than the actual plot/main characters#also people will refer to him as a twink even tho hes obviously not#heres a stoic woman with a complicated past and indepth emotions but people are going to flaten her down to mean lesbian best friend#or worse villainize her#heres a conventionally attractive white boy who has only done everything wrong and continues to become worse#and no the narrative is not going to forgive his actions but hes just everyone's poor little meow meow#one of the mains is aroace and non white so even though time and time again she has shown emense levels of compassion and empathy and love#that doesnt fit peoples idea of how an aro person should act so she is also reduced to minimal emotion friend character#the actual main romantic ship is het so it will either be writen off as not queer enough even if its bi4bi and the main character is trans#or people will be weird about them bc they are teenagers#idk im making up fake problems to get weird about#i just know how fandom culture works and i simultaneously want to share my characters with the world#and also lock them up in a box and change career paths and bury us both 6ft under#sstfu.txt#delete later#1 am rambles haha this was nothing
