cherry wouldn't say she has a daddy kink, but regardless of whether or not her partner is male, she does like the idea of calling them "daddy." anyone can be daddy. daddy is a state of mind—and she doesn't mind. you can call her daddy, if you want, or you can call her mommy. it's all fair game.

SAUDADE — PornoGraffitti Cherry’s theme, as heard in Bullet Train (2022)

   For Cherry’s title in the soundtrack, I started by digging deep into Brazilian music to reflect her culture and upbringing. When I couldn’t find anything that hit quite right, I turned toward the Japanese covers of “Stayin’ Alive” and “Holding out for a Hero” for inspiration. Saudade is a uniquely Portuguese term that conveys a sense of longing and incompleteness. It can be an insatiable desire, particularly because the saudade can be for something that never quite existed in the first place. The track by PornoGraffitti is more or less a standard love song, but with a strong Latin influence. It takes on a twist if one considers that Cherry, forever chasing after new thrills, may feel saudade for her own happiness...

casual reminder that ngitarogshi ("nikita") was summoned by COMPLETE ACCIDENT by cherry's neighbor who screwed up the ritual and butchered the name of the demon they were really seeking and cherry just happened to be the closest body able to withstand the traumatic force of a nonhuman entity slipping under her skin.

Cherry exorcises demons because she doesn't want anyone else getting trapped in the same situation as her, but the reason Ngitarogshi goes along with it is that having less "competition" around directly benefits her.

animal nickname index

apparently, a growing trend of cherry’s is to nickname people after animals, so…that’s something to aspire to. maybe. i’ll update this as time goes on, because right now there’s only 4 names.

Why is Cherry still alive?

     Precisely because she was supposed to have died. She messed that up, and now she's suffering the consequences. Ngitarogshi makes it extraordinarily difficult for Cherry to die, so, when she is no longer alive, it will be entirely on her own terms. Despite the loudness of her life, and despite how connected she is to everyone around her, when she goes, it will be quietly, and no one will know.

     She wants rumors that she's alive to persist for at least thirty years after her passing. She'll leave little clues and hints scattered. It's Performance Art™. Andy Kaufman, eat your heart out.

little cherry things

she actually dyes her hair a bunch of fun colors. goosebumps green 🔫, fluorescent yellow 🌝, coraline blue 👖…pink hair just happens to be her signature. if you wanted to, you could mention her hair as virtually any color in-thread and it probably wouldn’t be ooc for her. i’d go along with it LOL

her focus on fitness and developing her muscles 💪 ✨ did in fact start as a direct response to her possession 👻🌀

these are two things she still has control over, even if her body is no longer solely her own.
