what if nightcord at 25:00 was splatoons.....!?!!?!?!?!

i have vague ideas for the rest of the characters (like akito might also be a sea urchin) but these 4 are always so fun to draw. I feel like Kanade's absurdly long tentacles would drag across the floor as well...

mafuyu being a mimic octopus and having to masquerade as an inkling in public life is uh, more allegorical than anything. i don't feel like getting into the political implications of that in splatoon/proseka world.

I don't think all the project sekai characters would be inklings/octolings though. In particular, i think nene, rui, kohane, and the tenmas would be fishpeople of some sort. I'm not really big on marine biology, so i couldn't tell you what kind, though. Also, i tried to make akito one of the murasaki-style urchins, but it failed horrendously.
