Watching an interview from 2017 where Blothar is like oooh the new album sucks it’s trash we recorded the whole thing on the phone and paid a shitty producer 5 billion dollars >:) but he can’t even keep the bit going he has to stop and be like well no actually it’s really good and we put a lot of work into it and one of the songs is a tribute to Oderus :) I love him so much every interview with him is an absolute gem

I'LL BE YOUR MONSTER, BABY! I've done a few pieces of Oderus fanart, but I haven't celebrated Blothar yet. Dave Brockie was an awesome dude and there will never be another Oderus, but I think that Mike Bishop as Blothar provides his own brand of badassery. Some people don't like Blood of the Gods as much as previous albums because of the new vocalist and different sound, but the thing is GWAR has done a lot of experimentation over the years. Compare Hell-O to Bloody Pit of Horror and it's a very different sound. We Kill Everything was all over the place. I like that Blothar isn't trying to be the new Oderus, he's his own dude.

GWAR has booked holiday tour dates dubbed the “Use Your Collusion” tour. Direct support will come from Unearth and Savage Master. The tour starts December 27th in Washington DC and running through New Year’s Eve in Cincinnati, OH. This follows already booked tour dates with Sacred Reich, Toxic Holocaust and Against the Grain.
