Sorry I'm late, but I am deeply curious about the two hardcore!Phils.

BUT i’ve got two separate versions of him in My Mind. both are very dear to me even if one is closer to being the canon that phil himself has established. i just… i can’t let go of either of them,, so like. i just have two separate ones

so the First hardcore phil ,,, that’s the one who’s more canon. the guy who wanders around this world and discovers the ancient builds that tell the stories of old gods both living and long gone. he doesn’t directly interact with all the deities of the world, but he knows about all of them. there’s a divide between him and the deities (the ones still around lmao) because he wasn’t There for the war, he wasn’t there to Know ender. all he knows is his grave. he marks in his journal the builds he sees and tries to retell the story of these gods. it’s just… him uncovering the world around him with a Mostly unbiased view. it’s a beautiful world with so much rich history. he occasionally shares this history with others, more than welcome to share this world with friends (and even kind strangers).

And Then there’s the other hardcore phil.. this one is the guy who directly interacts with deities all the time. he has directly witnessed everything that has gone down in the world. he’s a bit younger, a bit Less experienced, somehow a bit more alone but than the other phil. he’s navigating this hardcore world while also trying to navigate these gods. the gods who are clearly in some kind of war with each other, and he just Happens to be a witness to it. he sees the world before ender began to mess with it, and he gets to see how it has been changed by him. he’s actively in danger in this world because of the gods. it’s still a beautiful world, but there’s so many conflicting emotions surrounding it. eventually the other deities win against ender, he gets to Help… but the fear lingers. he wouldn’t trade the world for anything even still. but it’s only his, and his alone.

just… two different guys. still very Similar (and live in diff versions of the same world in different times) but Very different reactions and responses to the world around them. ya know how it is,, your environment can affect who you become. they both Can’t exist, but i can’t just throw one aside. and i also Don’t have different ways to refer to them…. they’re both hardcore phil. it gets Confusing LMAO
