just watched Pearl and I enjoyed it but not as much as i thought i would and now i’m sitting there disappointed, ngl :/
#it just felt like there was something missing for me and i don't quite know what#i'm gonna be honest i've seen the innkeepers and i've seen the devil's house and i just don't think ti west is that great of a writer#like he's alright but that's all i can say about it#i know mia goth co wrote that movie and i mean..based on that alone i think she's a better actress than writer tbh#i also believe it was how they were directed but i also wasn't that impressed with the performance of both the actresses who played ruth..#and mitsy#the scene between ruth and pearl honestly made me laugh and i'm not sure if it was what they were going for#the girl playing misty gave me hallmark movie vibe#idk i just wasn't half as impressed as i thought i would be#still a very good looking movie but that's pretty much my favorite part tbh
