The desert of Pandora was hot as the sun rise. A hybrid dragon was looking down at the horizon of the wasteland before spotting figures in a distant.

Her eyes narrowed while a soft growl was heard in her throat, fur puffing up a bit.

Lily didn’t fell asleep right away, her ears flickered once in awhile as she watched Egon move around the shack. She noticed how he wasn’t going to sleep and slowly rose up.

She quietly walks over to him and gently nudged his arm, letting out a quiet hoot.

“Dada..”

“She made a sound..but you little one..need to go to sleep.”

Ra stretched, flapping his tiny wings then settled.

“You’re adorable.”

Ra cooed softly, tiredly smiling then slowly closes his eyes, “Ov ou…Dada.”

“I love you too.” Egon whispered then waited until Ra was asleep before getting up and finishing cleaning the shack. He then tinkered with the traps, repositioning them for better coverage. Sleep could wait…he had to protect Ra and now Lily.

Lily smiled a bit as Ra’s attempt to nudge in return and watched Egon picked him up. Surprised when Ra was reaching towards her, she looks at him before reaching her head over to him and nuzzled him, a soft purr in her throat.

Ra blinked his big brown eyes up at Lily, sitting very still while she sniffed him over, “Lil..ee” He cooed and tried to give her a nudge back but falls into her side. 

“Ra be careful.” Egon came over to intervene, gently picking up the winged companion. 

“Dada…Lil…ee…sof…peas…peaass.” Ra reached for her then warbled softly..

“Its polite to ask if you can hug her..even if you did fall onto her but it was an accident..”

Ra still reached his little hands towards Lily, grunting quietly..

“Use your words..”

“Peaaaaas…Dada?”

Lily smiled at the small one who was now named Ra and lets out a hurr, shaking her head rapidly a bit before going back to her meal.

As she chews on the bone, you could hear her purring softly, holding the bone delicately in her paws as she chews on the end of it.

“Dada?”

“Yes little one? Are you okay?”

“Ah…ah ah..”

Egon looked to where the winged companion was reaching for, “The poster? It just says, ‘Ra’…oh…is that what you’d like your name to be?” 

“Peas?”

“Ok…well from this day forward, you shall be named Ra..”

The dragon stops growling but kept its eyes narrowed at the man before it. But then it’s gaze soften at what he said before preening its wings and then walked closer, sniffing him softly.

That’s when it can smell the winged creature on him and hurred.

Lily looks at him with wide pupils before shaking her head no at his question. She looks over to the couch and gently grabbed his sleeve with her teeth and leads him over.

She then looks at him and pawed at the couch, letting out a huff.

“Dada..”

“She made a sound..but you little one..need to go to sleep.”

Ra stretched, flapping his tiny wings then settled.

“You’re adorable.”

Ra cooed softly, tiredly smiling then slowly closes his eyes, “Ov ou…Dada.”

“I love you too.” Egon whispered then waited until Ra was asleep before getting up and finishing cleaning the shack. He then tinkered with the traps, repositioning them for better coverage. Sleep could wait…he had to protect Ra and now Lily.

The dragon allows Ra to touch her head, her fur soft to the touch while purring softly. Once Egon pulls Ra away to tuck him to bed, Lily found a corner in the house and curled up, but then smiled at Ra.

He was already attached to her and it made her heart flutter at the thought. She lets out a hoot back at him before laying her head down between her paws.

Ra blinked his big brown eyes up at Lily, sitting very still while she sniffed him over, “Lil..ee” He cooed and tried to give her a nudge back but falls into her side. 

“Ra be careful.” Egon came over to intervene, gently picking up the winged companion. 

“Dada…Lil…ee…sof…peas…peaass.” Ra reached for her then warbled softly..

Lily purrs and leaned into his hand when he pets her, then lies down on the floor next to the couch and laid her head down, her ears listening to the outside while letting out a deep breath and closed her eyes.

“Dada..”

“She made a sound..but you little one..need to go to sleep.”

Ra stretched, flapping his tiny wings then settled.

“You’re adorable.”

Ra cooed softly, tiredly smiling then slowly closes his eyes, “Ov ou…Dada.”

Her ears flickering when she heard Ra called out to her, making her raise her head up slightly to look at him. She lets out a soft hurr before laying her head down, but her ears stayed up to hear anything outside of the home.

Lily was still asleep until she heard Ra whimper in his sleep. Lily took a deep breath, stretching out on her side before standing up.

She walks over to Ra and Egon and cooed, gently nuzzling the top of Ra’s head.

Lily kept nuzzling him then licked the top of his head gently before looking at Egon, letting out a quiet hoot.

Lily finished up her meal on the Skag leg she was chewing on before looking at Ra and Egon. She smiled and nods at them both before standing up.

She arches her back to stretch before stretching one of her wings to preen them.

“Dada?”

“Yes little one? Are you okay?”

“Ah…ah ah..”

Egon looked to where the winged companion was reaching for, “The poster? It just says, ‘Ra’…oh…is that what you’d like your name to be?” 

“Peas?”

“Ok…well from this day forward, you shall be named Ra..”
