just saw someone remark “where is the botw team” and like. they’re taking ten years to make another zelda game and like… as it should be! game devs in franchises SHOULD take ten years to make each installment, they should be paid 100k a year, and they should work only five hours a day on it god bless!

#nintendo catching strays from tpc like they didn’t loan our entire dev teams to them #tpc is demanding yearly releases which was Fine when they were doing remakes on the same engines #but now they’re having to build an entirely new engine for a CONSOLE which historically was NOT their team’s wheelhouse #the jump to console was something gf devs were CLEARLY unprepared for #and they had barely like what four years of development for swsh?#let’s go was like two years which was just a kanto remake and i don’t blame the devs for not doing more than a paint by numbers with that #idk i think the first open world pokémon should’ve had more dev time than two years :)#and it’s only going to get worse as long as people keep fucking buying it launch day
