I’ve never drawn a room layout like this before… sketched and used them as sets sure, but to actually build one is a WHOLE different ballgame. Some serious lessons learned today!

This is Rodina and Priya’s room, btw. The round bed is better for Rodina’s wings, which she let’s out of their glamour at night. Priya likes to curl up under them. There’s no light bulbs, so they use charged crystals and the occasional luminous plant to light space. Rodina insisted on a balcony after getting back to the House late after a mission and not being able to get to their room for HOURS because she had to get past all the other members of the House and the Healers (seriously, she just wanted to sleep it off before going to medical, leave a bird be) so the balcony was installed to shortcut the trip when it happened again. Priya likes it during the warm seasons for doing paperwork with the door open.

New art new art new art!

I wanted to do more Priya before Art Fight tears me away from my babies for a while.

This is more conceptual, her evolution and her story. How she went from pawn to leader, and the chaos that got her there. Things that would have ended her siblings made her stronger. I love her story really, I can’t wait to share it with you all.

Let’s start with a map, that’s always a good place to start.

This, is the continent of Ieesea. It is a continent divided, Orania to the West, Zuri in the East, and Kael the unwilling mountainous buffer. Each kingdom is run by two rulers, a Magi and their Protector, called the Heads of House.

The lands are teeming with magic and life, mages of all walks and creeds and species roam the lands. Harpies and centaurs, Amazons and Elvin, Nagas and Elementals.

To the north is the Withering Tundra, home of the Banished. Several races long since kicked from the mainland for crimes of nature. Most commonly the Succubi, Inucubi, and Concubi. They are called the Guilded, creatures that rely and trade favors for souls. The Vampires, for their murder of sentient beings, and the Necromancers, for their disrespect of the dead.

Iridescence is the tale of a young Amazonian mage trying to find his place as tensions bubble and boil between the four divisions.
