this has been bugging me so bad for months now but the whole camping out/queuing from early hours of the morning for gigs is so bizarre like when did that become a thing and why do so many people boast about it on twitter

#why are you queuing at 6am for a 500 capacity venue literally whenever you stand will be a good view #and for INHALER of all bands but do not get me started actually that’s a whole other conversation #but like firstly camping outside a venue probs isn’t safe and i see teenagers doing it????#where are their parents???#the only time i’ve turned up ‘early’ to a gig was once at brixton bc there was no trains so had to go to from epping and it was the only #time we would get a lift and we were probably queuing for like 3 hours #and another was we’d been in camden all day and had been round the market 50 times already so headed off to the venue at like 3 #but i would never queue from the morning??#like even to get a good view standing in an arena i’ve never had problem just turning up at doors #like some girl saying it’s a job trying to control the camping queues girl you literally don’t have to do that #like you can just turn up at 6pm instead of writing numbers on hands or whatever ffs get a life #stacey speaks
