s2 ep1 thoughts bc why not:

kinda sad we don’t get a new opening. considering this is the atla team (and there’s the shot of Shiro with his bayard that still hasn’t happened yet) I’m not surprised but :c

did not realize we were going to see so many stages of young Coran... he always had a mustache but it moved to the top of his head as a baby?? Will be fun if we get to see flashbacks of Coran in futureeeee

but why are the mice mutating into other species? and why is Allura the only one unaffected? this doesn’t make sense to me

Keith talking to his lion and saying he’s “not good” because Red is busted 8(

really like the designs of the trash nebula and this dusty planet... really cool atmospheres

Keith literally falling off cliffs and calling it a “minor delay”... Shiro getting caved in running from alien lizard monsters and still asking how Keith’s doing first thing... love how they’re both so reassuring and worried how the other’s doing alsdkfh

Pidge’s recreations of everyone complete with facial features ahaha she even found parts with the right colors and shape for their body types. I love that that was the first thing she did

also Coran recovered seriously asking “mum?” when Allura was holding him ahhhh there is stuff to work with here

so Pidge single-handedly saved Coran’s life and rescued Allura and the mice and the castle and made rescuing everyone else possible GO PIDGE

Coran called Pidge a genius and rightfully so that was super impressive jury-rigging

take the space rainbow pygmy puffs with youuuuuuuu look at how cute they are you’re not gonna just leave them at the trash pile are you??? how great would a flock of those be in the castle like seriously
