this is really fun and all but I think i'm biased bc I truly don't think there is a better DM than matt mercer and if there WAS I wouldn't be able to tell because of all these added SOUND EFFECTS

#d20 lb #I can live with it since I'm used to it but dnd games being overproduced are like antithetical to the experience imo #the DM is SUPPOSED to make all the sounds themself. you're SUPPOSED to be immersed in the world through your interactions with each other #the people at the table aren't hearing these added sound effects or seeing these illustrations! it's cutting me off from THEM too
