One of the messed up things about Spare is that she is a picky eater, but not in the way others would understand it. She knows what she likes, because she was programed with a list, but she doesn't know WHY she likes it so she has no basis of understanding if she would like other foods because doesn't even know why she likes the foods she does. Because they were chosen arbitrarily with zero input from her because she didn't exist yet. So while others see "kid refusing to try something new, probably spoiled by parents who give them what they ask" they don't see Spare internally going "Would I like nuggets? I like other dishes with meat and I think a few with the same kind of meat, but do I like the meat itself or do I like what they put with the meat? And I've never had any of these sauces before, are they like any of the ones I do like? Do I even really like sauces?"😵‍💫

my sister has that -- spare needs to monitor her reaction to potatoes and all peppers over time because they can develop eventually. can’t believe arceus would do this to her that’s just RUDE..... thank goodness there are substitutes like banana ketchup and pesto pizzas and various sweet peppers but dang smh smh smh tomatoes are so good though 😔😔😔
