i really wanted to talk about what i’ve got going on for aislinn and caleb’s new story so !!! have a pointless ref notes post

basic idea/plot: aislinn and caleb are genetically modified beings escaping the facility where they’ve been created, they get separated during the escape and subsequently end up trying to get back to each other key points about this: they’re in LA, aislinn ends up with shiro, and caleb ends up with aurelia  (*ends up meaning that’s who helps them out while they’re still adjusting to the real world; not romantically)

chara ref sheet time: beta#542091890326 / aislinn - has existed for approximately 2 years, 17, beta shapeshifter (slime based, can shapeshift to have any human features he wants, special talents include: higher intelligence, telepathy, rapid healing and regeneration, and ofc he’s much much stronger than any human being or what use would he be really ???), vicious vicious vicious, spending time with caleb has calmed him but boy he will tear you apart given the chance if he thinks he has to, spending time with shiro softens him considerably but still ^^^, doesn’t often kill just for the sake of killing tho, generally only kills people if they’re threatening his existence or someone he cares about, loves sweets, loves to pretends he’s super sweet and ditzy when in reality he’s probably plotting out your death in disturbing detail, is glaringly over protective of people he actually likes, you know that one post that goes something like “people don’t take my death threats seriously and that’s a problem” ???, yeah, that’s aislinn, appears very calm and is actually pretty calm aside for being a vicious genetic modification created in a lab where he had to fight to survive in addition to needing to be hardy enough to survive human-preformed experiments, has a huge resentment for the human, chaotic neutral; tagline: none yet

shiro acelin noire - 17, mostly human, mostly (altho he has no idea how to use his special talents special talents include higher intelligence and emotional manipulation via chemicals; also possesses slightly quicker healing than a normal person and he’s def stronger than a normal person too tho nowhere near to the extent as aislinn or caleb) has So Many Issues i don’t know where to start, this boy needs copious amounts of attention to function but rarely ever gets it, tries to pretend like he doesn’t care about anyone or anything, pretends to be Cool & Apathetic™ when really that could not be FURTHER from the truth, quiet and sullen and convinced everyone hates his because he kind of unsettles everyone because he gives off inhuman eldritch creature vibes even tho he’s only like 2% genetically modified, will give you everything and nothing all at once, like no one ever knows anything about him even tho he can’t help but overshare literally everything, does ballet and gymnastics, kind of a little bit of a coward tbh aislinn toughens him up tho, kind of a little bit obsessive about being perfect despite being like super depressed because he thinks that it’ll make his dad notice him (spoiler alert, it won’t), clings to aislinn desperately with every fiber of his being because aislinn’s like the only person who cares about him for the first time in a long time, neutral good; tagline: none yet

delta#542091898516 / caleb - has existed for approximately 3 years, 21-23, delta shapeshifter (slime based, can shapeshift into any earth animal he’s been exposed to in any way shape or  form, special talents include: higher intelligence, rapid healing and regeneration, and ofc he’s much much stronger than any human being or what use would he be really ???), so kind, so gentle, so patient, how could he have possibly been created and treated in the same way as aislinn and still be so drastically different you might ask, well, we just don’t know, is super overprotective even more so than aislinn and he’ll do what he has to to keep him and the people he cares about safe, tries not to be sceptical of humans and their motives but still has his doubts occasionally, prefers to not look human, very canine but other forms will do should he feel the need, misses aislinn with his whole entire being, mom/dad friend honestly but like not as embarrassing, rarely ever speaks if you hear him talk consider yourself blessed, chaotic good; tagline: none yet

aurelia tadeo ramirez - 17, like literally our only human mc, she’s still super kickass tho, so smart could probably outsmart aislinn, tech girl that works part time at a gym, lowkey a theater kid (tech hello how can she not be), appears really chill but is the literal definition of salty, does not know the definition of chill, so snarky so aggressive, would totally fight you no doubt about it, still somehow manages to be no nonsense tho, just,,,,,,,accepts things, a 180lb wolf with a weird collar ?? okay then, oh so you’re a genetically modified human ??? cool, selectively mute too ?? dw bud we’ll work out a system, lowkey a party girl, comes off as a little bit mean but only because she’s brutally honest, can be really nice tho especially to little kids, she’s our snapbacks and flannel girl, you know you know,  has a thing for pretty but functional knives and guns that she eventually passes on to aislinn, is so tired of all the weird shit give our girl a break, chaotic good; tagline: none yet
