the ezio trilogy that lives in my head would not be good in a video game format. it would be better as a graphic novel.
#stormy shouts#i am talking to myself don't mind me#but rlly i do think that the ideas i have abt how the ezio trilogy could be improved from a narrative perspective in regards to ezio#would be better established in written or drawn form#bcs video games can only really dig deep into a character so much if that's not the point of the game#and i ruminate a lot on ezio as a character bcs i've kind of taken the notion that we are seeing the world THROUGH ezio's eyes#a la desmond reliving her genetic memories in the animus#we're with her so much so it only makes sense for the ezio trilogy in my head to be very much centered on ezio's pov#i also make a point of it to feel like. weirdly intimate. too intimate.#bcs after ezio learns of desmond she feels like she's being watched by him at every turn#and in specific instances of her life she very much is#she regards him as the spectre that hangs heavy on her shoulders#the recipient of a message she could only barely begin to comprehend#and she can only hope that desmond is just as lost as she is
