okay hear me out….tlh au where jesse has always been alive (and was taken in by his father’s family at a young age) and he and lucie are only a couple years apart in age and Will doesn’t approve of their relationship and the Blackthorns lowkey have a family feud with the Herondales so whenever the Blackthorns come to visit London, Will is always trying to make up all these crazy schemes to separate jesse and lucie so they can’t be around each other and I will only ever accept this as canon
