bruh. i woke up this morning to discover one of my pythons has escaped her terrarium and helped herself to two of my white-ear kits.

and then, insult to injury, those kits were in two different boxes, that had plenty other kits in them, but the two kits she ate were the ONLY non-white kits in those boxes.

i did NOT raise her like this

#i lost two of my white-ear satin kits yesterday and now she's eaten all but one of the older ones #the universe does not want me to have white-ears clearly :(#vaille #animal death /#also: i have to bring my nestboxes in at night until they're about two or so weeks old because rats will steal babies out of nests #the safest/warmest room in the house is my office...and it's warm because my reptiles are in here #it has not been an issue for YEARS but apparently after eating her dinner she was still hungry 🙄#guess she's getting the lock
