the scoundrel is finally getting that impossible theorem.
#we've come full circle#it starts with discordance and immaterial materials and it'll... well it won't END with that#but the fact that we've reached back around to this point at all is amusing#yin-thoughts#fallen london#the scoundrel's thoughts on discordance... i wouldnt say their opinion has exactly improved?#they're mostly just. closed off to it. which is a marginal improvement from the pure hatred and petty spite they had previously#they're going through the motions. they're actually following along with what everyone else is (not) telling them for once#but it's still bitter and fueled by spiteful fear#they're still confident they can just. figure it out. ''solve'' it. they've relaxed but it's like#a 0.2% relaxation#as opposed to the 0% they had before#which. is some kind of progress!#fallen london spoilers#discordance spoilers#completely out of context but eh. just to cover all bases.
