A great opportunity to announce that I'm finally working on a new fic since I finished Hanafuda! I'm taking a stab at the long-time idea of entirely rewriting the movie Goodbye Partner. I loved its premise but I thought it was handled poorly, so I'm going to rewrite it and add three times more angst and consequences 👍

Lupin set the thing on the table, and unwrapped it. Inside, framed within waves of shiny red fabric, was a wooden box. It was a pale brown, with a darker inlay in the shape of a songbird, and polished nearly to a mirror shine.

(yes I know it's several sentences but I've only got one WIP)
