Mel Feller looks at that “Feeling Stuck” Mood and What to do about it by Mel Feller
Mel Feller and hundreds of his clients have all experienced that feeling stuck and unproductive mood. It is natural and it can be caused by overwork, lack of momentum, a bad mood, a success block, the weather and/or dozens of other factors. In addition, while it is helpful to understand why you are stuck and unproductive, sometimes it is just better to do one or more of the PRACTICAL things, which follow!  Mel Feller has given these same tips to hundreds of his clients.
 Check-In with Someone
Call a friend/colleague and say, "I'm stuck/unproductive. Can I check in with you every hour for a couple of hours until I get cranking again?" This really works! In addition, your friend may want to play along too! Just share what you want to be done, specifically, between now and the next time you call in. Your friend would listen and accept what you are saying, or ask you to increase/decrease the goal for the hour. In either case, keep the check in call to be less than 5 minutes.
 Do Something Physical
Take a walk, go to the gym, go running, move your body.  Increasing your body's metabolism also loosens up your mind and spirit, resulting in a greater energy flow. It's that simple.
 Take a nap
Sometimes, your mind needs a break to work through an idea or block. Take a 1-3 hour nap and see if that helps.
 Use music
I use music as a quicker method to pick me up, especially when I am feeling draggy or alone. Rap, disco, instrumentals work for me. Moreover, when I am really stuck, Dean Martin does the trick.
 Food
Eat/drink something that you will respond to emotionally or physically.  If I am REALLY stuck, I will have a couple of cups of coffee; caffeine is a great unblocker for me.
 Clean workspace
One major thing that has worked well for Mel Feller and his clients is the old saying, It is said that "stuff" around you that is not in its place, can be a drain of energy. When I am stuck, one of the first things I do is take 10 minutes and put things in piles or file stuff away or clear my immediate work area so that there is less stuff dragging me down.
 Switch projects
I do not know about you, but I am not willing to push myself through a project that I am just not in the mood to work on. Therefore, I find a project/idea that I DO want to work on and my productivity picks right up!
 Maintain a schedule
A routine provides momentum and momentum will keep you from being stuck. Thus, schedule in an hour or three of enthusiastic work between appointments/calls/meetings.
 Reward yourself
This may not be spiritually healthy, but I will give myself rewards when I finish a tough project. Like a vacation, a trip, a shirt, a massage, etc. Hey, whatever works!
 Travel
I find that I am especially creative when on a plane, train or bus. Therefore, sometimes, I will book a 3-10 hour trip, bring my laptop and be incredibly productive. In addition, financially, it is WORTH IT.
 Avoid negativity
Negativity often comes hand in hand with feeling stuck. Therefore, your number one priority is removing toxicity from your life. Moreover, you can start with surrounding yourself with positive people and getting rid of the negative ones.
 Listen to you-not others
Ask yourself this, are you living someone else’s life? Are other people influencing your every decision? Remember that it is YOUR life.
Here is what you can do:
Have fun and experiment. Discover what it is that YOU like and care about.
Spend time with yourself. Being alone is not a bad thing.
Set boundaries. People should respect your choices and your individuality.
Invest in your self-awareness.
Question your beliefs.
Take a step back and think about the bigger picture.
 Avoid overthinking
Whatever happens, just happens. Just relax. You cannot control everything, so you need to learn to just let go of some things. You may be feeling stuck because you are always in your own head, worrying and obsessing.
Things happen when it is right
Mel Feller both strongly knows and teaches that even though you are the one who is responsible for making a change in your life, you need to stay open-minded about how to do it. If you are sticking to a specific way but failing, it may be because it just was not meant for you. Try something else. In addition, accept that things happen in a different order than the one you have planned.
 It will come
Do not look back; you are not going that way. Keep moving forward. Good things CAN happen and ARE going to happen.
