i hate when people try to say one octonaut is better or worse than the others. didn't you watch the mudskippers episode they are equals in every way because they are friends and love each other thank you end post <3

#this is /hj and /lh but also genuinely i love the mudskippers episode lol #it's been one of my favourites since i was a kid i just couldn't articulate why back then #it's about the friendship. the unwavering mutual love and respect they have for each other that you can't come between even if you try.#the subversion of the usual ''friends turning on each other over ego'' trope #the way barnacles not once but twice immediately shuts down his skipper when he implies he's ''superior'' bc he's the captain #the way kwazii is like :) when his skipper compliments him. then like >:( when he insults peso #i talk a lot about how the show does this Octonaut-Meet-Creature-Like-Them thing a LOT but the mudskippers are fun bc they're literally #the exact opposite of that.
