on a warm summer's evening, when the birds had stopped singing and flown home to their young, and the clouds were painted vibrant colours by nature's hand, george weasley walked you down to the lake.

the was a mellow breeze caressing your skin, grass blades tickling your ankles, and george grinning from ear to ear with his hand in yours. in the other, he held a picnic basket, filled with fruits and treats for the two of you to share, topped off with pumpkin juice and ginger ale.

"where d'you think the best spot is?" he surveyed the ground, avoiding the shade where the dew had begun to set.

"over there, by that patch of daisies," you pointed a little distance away.

george smiled, yes it was perfect. it was the perfect place to watch the sunset with you by his side, missing it slip below the horizon because he’d be too enamoured with you and the way your lips were slightly parted, the way your eyes were fixed to the scene before you, completely transfixed.

“there’s nothing better than a good sunset,” you said wistfully, biting into a strawberry.

“i can think of something,” george whispered, wrapping his arms around you.

ENCANTO HEADCANONS I WANT TO WORD VOMIT VOL. 2

Dolores can do whistle tones, something she only discovers once the magic is gone.

Julieta kisses her food before giving it to a bee-stinged Agustín 💞💞 (of course... If she's not annoyed.) I imagine she sometimes does this for the kids too🥺🥺.

Luisa loves princess stories and would get annoyed at Isa when she'd change the stories to be more violent when they were younger.

Agustín started calling Mirabel 'Miraboo' because when she was a baby, he'd make her laugh by playing peekaboo but instead he'd say: 'Mira... Boo!'

Isabela was definitely the kind of kid to try and colour her hair with pens - or in this case, paint or crayons.

Isa was way more confident but the tension after Mirabel's gift ceremony left her striving to be perfect, you can see it in the picture of her outside her door when she was 5, her body language is more free and expressive, she just looks more sure of herself overall.

When I hear 'Dos Oruguitas' I hear it as Pedro's voice.

Isabela and Mariano never kissed.

Rather than Pedro being reincarnated as Casita, I find it more plausible that he'd be reincarnated as a butterfly. Although I prefer to believe that he wasn't reincarnated.

Agustín is very attentive and gives Julieta foot and leg massages often, after all, being on your feet all day cooking would cause discomfort, pain even her food couldn't fully heal.

Julieta can't heal disabilities, I don't like the idea that she could heal Mirabel's eyes but chooses not too because: 1. That's just weird and 2. That idea suggests that disabilities are something that can and should be healed and therefore, makes the Encanto seem like a really abliest place, with no variety and just filled with able bodied people.

Bruno’s rats call him "mother" or "mam" and refer to him as such when they tell Antonio everything.

Julieta and Agustín feel incredibly guilty once they find out Isabela and Luisa were suffering in silence, they were giving so much attention to Mirabel because they could see her pain, so they babied her and always made sure she was okay, unintentionally weakening their relationship with their other daughters. (don't take this the wrong way though, they are great parents, they genuinely thought Isa and Luisa were okay.)

Camilo is a good brother and plays with Antonio a lot, often shape-shifting to entertain him, which always results in a laughing fit.

Mirabel and Antonio have a great relationship, they are best friends 🥺💞.

Mariano didn't really know what love was, he's an emotional himbo. But Dolores is the first person he makes a true connection with. The first person who he talks about his poetry and hobbies with outside his family and that means a lot to him. I believe he's probably a bit socially awkward (looks to the scene where he relied on his Abuela to speak for him👀) and has trouble being himself with people.

After Isa becomes her true self, she becomes more involved with Mirabel's hobbies and dyes white fabric/yarn for her.

When Antonio gets older, he asks if he can be a vegetarian.

Bruno bites his nails and the skin around them, plus his lips (like me😔)

Bruno was bullied at school and only came in occasionally, it would really exhaust him physically and emotionally whenever he went. (the projection is very real😭) his sisters were always there for him but even their presence didn't help.

Most of his life, Bruno was called 'Brunito' more than 'Bruno' (by his family, of course).

Casita fought with Bruno and refused to let him leave and often tried to tell people where he was. He only managed to get into the walls because Casita was warn down and crumbled at the thought of losing him. Bruno saw this and climbed inside the passage, leaving Casita unable to close it up.

Mirabel is Casita's favourite because they have the best bond. She didn't get a gift and therefore didn't get a room, Casita can't enter/manipulate inside people's rooms so, Mirabel spent her whole life with Casita there, always looking out for her. Because of this, she also values Casita the most and asks more of it than to do chores (example: she asks Casita if it's alright when the tiles start shaking, she tells Casita she'll be okay, knowing it worries, she asks it: 'how do you save a miracle?' and understands its response.) also, I just think it was really beneficial for her to have someone who wasn't part of their family, (technically) someone who didn't care as much about powers or anything like that. That just happened to be the house. (this is basically canon ngl...)

Luisa was the hardest pregnancy for Julieta, she was much heavier than Isabela and then Mirabel. Hint hint. Also she was a cute heavy baby, this is a FACT and she stayed that way for most of her adolescence.

Bruno was everyone's fav uncle-then he left...

TW: mention of miscarriage and self harm.

Pepa was still under pressure to control the weather while she was pregnant and was scared each time that she'd miscarry. (this goes for Julieta too, she still had to cook and stand all day).

Bruno would intentionally let the sand in his sand-dome whip around him and hit and slash at his arms, eventually this graduated to him scratching and clawing at his skin with his nails, then broken vision pieces. Alma asked about it once but he just said that the sand did it.

As you can tell my hcs are always cheery.
