toonheads UK promos are actually a bit of a white whale for me. the original US show has turned up online in the last few years, which is Very cool !! there's a lot of facts and footage there that wasn't readily available for a long time

but that one got a more smooth-talking air pilot or radio host-kinda guy voice for the host puppet during the, eyecatches? I guess. I don't think he was ever used in the show itself iirc. ours was dubbed with a hoarse glaswegian accent, and probably had a different script, too. as of now there's only a couple uploads of CN continuity breaks with brief promos showcasing that voice so I Knoww it existed and wasn't a weird memory.

I think I felt quite grown up watching them too lol #also I was just always kinda fascinated by the older toons and the retrospectives about them #the opening to toonheads was also one of those childhood experiences that was engagingly creepy #it was so surreal but I couldn't look away
