I think I’ve come to terms with love is not all you need in a relationship! At least for me, there is an aspect of choice and what you’ll accept from someone... which it seems like I’ve always known but hadn’t put it to words until very recently.

INFJ and I went out quite a lot in the past couple of months but it was very ‘situationship’ given that I knew he was coming out of a relationship and wanted to leave the country for a short time. I helped him with his application letters and read thru his letters of rec and when this man finally asked me if we should try again. I was like sir, u tryna leave the country right?

It’s just amazing to me that I really feel that I love him and want to help him but at the same time, I’ve said no to him maybe three or four times since 2020--not including deflecting certain advances. So maybe I wasn’t letting my emotional conscious deal with the fact that my rational conscious did not want him. Also, we hooked up a month or two ago and I was lying there thinking oh wait... I didn’t feel anything? Or maybe it felt like an end. 

So ya! I think I was extrapolating romantic feelings that I had in the beginning of our relationship that had turned platonic. Also I very much know, and knew in 2020, that other than some sexy dramatics, he doesn’t offer me what I want. I think he wants me because he’s lonely. I also don’t really think that he knows what he wants and is chasing something. Meanwhile, I want a best friend and a partner. I also want some kids :). 

I recently met someone kind of great, an ENFJ, who I think was written by a woman (I’ll post abt this fabulous man later maybe idk but this helps me think?), and we’ve been dating for the past month. I broke the news to INFJ, who took it a little hard, and who apparently thought something was going to happen even though he’s moving to East Asia (bruh). I’m very pleased for the progress in any case <3, I’m very happy where I am these days, and I hope INFJ finds what he’s looking for!

Personally wasn't a fan of USUM either, I feel the anime handled the idea of a "good" Lusamine better, by actually just having her be misunderstood as opposed to actually evil (and thrusting Faba into the role of main antagonist). I love the idea of redeemable villains, but it's kind of harder to pull off when they've done some genuinely unforgiveable things and it's just brushed off like "it's okay! We're ok with you now!" like she didn't willingly do many cruel acts. At least in the anime Lusamine only acts evil when under the control of Nihilego, it's not her will in charge anymore.

Also...I wasn't too big a fan of Ultra Necrozma really. The original form looks bizarre and alien and its parasitism of Solgaleo and Lunala is interesting but its true form is...a dragon. Not gonna lie, I feel dragons are kinda overused when it comes to legendaries and pseudo-legendaries? And even worse that it's an Ultra Beast, a literal *alien*, I feel they could have made Necrozma's true form very bizarre and abstract like the other Ultra Beasts are as opposed to just yet another dragon.

Oh-ho!

I completely agree with the first half, so I won't add onto it. The second half is interesting, since I actually disagree! I think Ultra Necrozma is so cool for its themes personally. Yeah, it is A Dragon, but it's the themes of saud dragon that catches me.

Like. Base Necrozma is essentially its shell. It's burnt out from nowhere as powerful as it could be. When we first see Necrozma in SM I think we just see it laying there, right? Unmoving. I honestly didn't think much of it at the time. But then it gains it's energy- or rather light, from Solgaleo and Lunala, and it reaches a form that have themes that mesh really well together imo.

The first thing that comes to mind is a biblically accurate angel. Or according to Bulbapedia Lucifer. I'm not joking look:

The angel vibes + the fact that Necrozma in this form is literally Light™,and I just feel like it is soooo interesting. The Light That Burns The Sky z-move is the cherry on top for me. I dunno. I feel like the biblical vibes that Ultra Necrozma gives me makes up for it looking less alien. I.....I never figured out if Necrozma, Solgaleo and Lunala were ultra beasts or not. Like in one canon they are but in another they aren't like. It's weird. Maybe I'm missing something tho.

All of that being said ......yeaaaaah, the dragon typing does get overplayed I think. I don't think with box legendaries, I think they've done a decent job at keeping things diverse. Pseudo legendaries, however, have a MASSIVE dragon type problem. I kinda wish they went back to having non dragon type pseudo legendaries. Bonus if it's not remotely dragon like.

All in all, it's fine that you don't like Ultra Necrozma anon! I hope I didn't sound like you were wrong for it! People have different opinions on things and that's okay 👍
