I'm late to this but I finally got to finish Tokyo Vice s2. That was an emotional rollercoaster and I loved till the end. Such a fantastic sequel. I'd argue it exceeded the first one jdkdls.
#pen rambles#tokyo vice#tokyo vice spoilers in the tags#i wish this show got more hype#the writing was so good i can't get over how things escalated jxksks#istg i was sweating at some parts#i hated hayama so much that i was anticipating for him to die than tozawa lol#there were a lot of standout side characters for this season (the og cast was phenomenal ofc)#my unpopular opinion tho....tozawa deserved to die but he did have a vision for the future (just in terms of the narrative)#it's also scary to think abt with hangure and tokuryu crimes coming abt recently while the yakuza are getting more disenfranchised#i wouldn't say they're dying out tho.. just finding new ways to operate from what i've read (a theory for now)
