Flameworked borosilicate glass. #sold At some points in this journey, making things more complicated seems like an exercise in futility, adding steps, adding layers, to what end? I know this isn’t necessarily true, but it’s funny and subversive to me to try and see how simple a thing can really be. To have the object be determined by the most pragmatic approach possible. So here we have this vessel, formed from one piece of glass, with the minimum number of steps. Simple isn’t the same thing as easy but I know how much I appreciate a simple thing done well.
