Theodora’s ending will probably be something in the lines of her either becoming a definite demon and stay with John forever, or she chooses to return her energy and eventually die to reunite with the old love interests.
But at the same time I have a pretty strong feeling the author will come up with something unique and unexpected bc that’s just one of RC’s qualities :)

THEODORA, S1E6
ROMANCE CLUB
As a Belgian, I delight myself in knowing that he'll probably suffer an painful death. It might seem like a weird reaction to you, and I know that this is fiction, but that doesn't mean that seeing stuff like this and reading it hurts any less.
Anyway, to end this post on a happier note, I really like this story and taking a small break to savor it was a good decision.
And maybe I'll post some screenshots from my Elite Tag playthrough!

It's not easy to make again and again a new group of LIs that can leave an impression when you only get a short time to make them compelling (like >10 episodes per season not talking about John, when other books can take 3 whole seasons for a confession).
Arina did a great job with every season's cast in Theodora, none of the characters were written like a remodel of older ones, they all had lives and belonged in their set and their environment. The fact that you can have close platonic relationships with them without missing out because of the lack of romance is also notable; it really shows that they are characters first, love interests second.
She writes really good characters and I'm curious how she'll develop them with more space and time (assuming the new book won't follow the cycle pattern and will have a solid cast).
Theodora is one of the few books that has a writing so elite that an entire mediocre season can't ruin the experience (ok I don't hate season 3, but it is the weakest). Arina has exceptional skills when it comes to building a protagonist, characters (good, evil and anything in between), dialogue and descriptions.
She's a phenomenal writer and I'm expecting many things from her second book.
