#RustingRivets I like this kinda character -> #StrikeGold has gone to the extent of getting custom rivets made which have a male part made of iron and a female piece made of copper. The reason for this is that the male piece will begin to rust over time but the female piece will darken and leaf over time giving the wearer a well rounded aging pattern even on the rivets. First look my post-wash The Strike Gold jeans this #type3tuesday! Swipe over to see more shots! The color opened up even more after some water! Specs: 15oz brown weft, 165 days, 1 wash. . The jeans were pretty snug to begin with, so I used cold water and Dr. Bronner’s, stretching the denim when it was wet. Finished it up wearing them until half dry. Seriously love the electric blue fades on my The Strike Gold jeans. The brown weft on this 5209 model makes itself known in the cuffs and the worn areas where the warp threads have gone. Check the back pocket rivets and rear belt loops! Happy #selvedgesunday, my friends.
