Christmas is on its way!. 🎅🌴🎅. We went for a walk on Friday night, not realising that 'Santa' was visiting.🎅 - delivering all the kids in the Noosa region pre-Xmas treats! . Even one of Santa's helpers gave treats to Josie. The Christmas lights were turned on in Hastings Street too and there were fabulous Christmas carolers. It was such a fun and fabulous night out and ....Josie, as per usual, lapped up the massive amount of attention she got. 💕🎅🌴. . Magnificent Horseshoe Bay!. Last night we arrived in Bowen just before sunset. As we were only staying one night, I wanted to get out to see Horseshoe Bay at sunset....and I'm so happy we did!. Its voted one of Australia's best beaches and is stunning - huge granite rocks and crystal clear waters. . 🔆🌴. There are lots of walks including a fabulous hike you can do around the bays to a lookout. We did this in the morning and its well worth it (but its very steep and involves climbing over rocks - Josie loved it!). The view from the top is spectacular - I'll post a video on this later :) . We also found a great little motorway motel that was perfect for us - the Bowen Arrow Motel. It's Josie's birthday tomorrow! 💕🎉💕. I can hardly believe a year has passed since I took this picture of Josie with her buddy Oskar celebrating down at Noosa Main Beach. It's still one of my favourites! 🔆🌴. Mum is a bit bad as I don't have any special planned for her this year 😥. Happy 'Bring Your Dog to Work Day' .... and of course every work day should start with a great coffee to get you going ☕️😄. . This is an exciting week for Josie and mum - both of us will be having a 'holiday' but not together!. . .🔆💕🐾🌴🐾💕🔆. Josie is going to be staying with a fabulous family who live near us here in Noosa. They've promised to spoil her rotten and they're also hoping to get some pics of her daily adventures with them!. I'm quite excited about that so we'll share those on here!. 'Mum' is going back to Canada and the US to visit family for the first time in 5 years!. . Good morning from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast!. We think it is one of the most fabulous places in the world!. .🌴🔆🐾💕🐾🔆🌴. Josie is still limping so we had a much slower and shorter walk this morning. I wish she could talk to me as we can't figure out what is going on - a bruised paw? pulled bicep? She seems to have very sensitive paws when walking on rough surfaces (grass is better) and doesn’t want to walk far. The x-rays show no arthritis or nasty's and we can't find anything wrong with her paws or nails. It was 7 years ago today I adopted my gorgeous little girl and I have loved every day that we have spent together. 💗 Josie was originally trained as a guide dog (known as Phoebe) but they said she was too timid and had 'work anxiety'. As such, she was re-homed and I am so happy that we found one another - she is my everything!. We didn't have much time to celebrate today unfortunately as Josie had to be sedated for a series of x-rays. She has been suffering from some lameness and it looks like she may have a bicep tendon injury. This means rest and inflammatories so it will hopefully heal. Go Josie! This awesome flashback shot was taken by @wendy_noosa last year down at @noosa_festival_of_surfing .. Thanks to Chris of @supdogoz for taking Josie out for her first deep water surf 🐾🏄🏽. (My little girl did so well!). . Dog surfing is on again this weekend. There is a training (more calm) session Doggy Beach in the morning where everyone is welcome (bring your board if you have one).
