Of the Final Fantasy VII core party I think Vincent is the only one who would have the conviction and nerves to actually 'shoot to kill' Cloud if he was Sephiroth-influenced into being a legitimate threat to the party. Everyone else would be trying not to hurt him too much

And I feel like Cloud would know this and actively tell Vincent that he's counting on Vincent to put him down if it came to that :(
