before I go check out the album im gonna talk about the mv real quick.

overall i really like it and i think it was different and yet still in monsta x's signature style. i like the transitions from one member to another and the close ups a lot.

however i like the first half significantly more than the second half. it feels more cohesive and consistent with the style and plot (if u can call it that). but the second half (since 02:10 ish) where they transition into this... auditorium with a stage with a huge X on it (it reminded me of the X Factor kjdfks) it kind of lost me. i already said I wasn't a fan of the outfits for that part but that's not the only thing. one of my pet peeves in MVs in when they have a fake stage and fake audience jumping up and down... I dislike that very much.

they could've done so much with the set ups from the first half. i would go as far as saying the first half was underdeveoped. i can't believe the had all that set up and didn't do more with it. kihyun didn't even fling the whip istg....

#if i were to summarize the plot it would go something like this:#cult leaders mx along with their masked followers attended the X Factor ksdhksdhf #the second hald didn't make sense #they could've done SO MUCH MORE WITH THE ABANDONED ARENA THING AND SO MANY PPL #they coulda had the gang gather around them like they wanna attack as mx danced #they couldve had chases. on foot. on bikes. on cars. ANYTHING.#THEY COULDVE HAD KIHYUN FLING THE FUCKING WHIP AND ADD SOUND EFFECT #all that being said i do actually like the MV a lot!!!#im just saying it could've been so much more...#i can't wait to see PD's reaction to this
