So, according to Syringeon and his and Bouncelia’s case notes, what happened with this whole kingdom arc was that awhile ago all the mascots in the kingdom decided they would rebel against the scientists. So, Bouncelia and Dadadoo had a bunch of kids together to make a child army (presumably with Syringeon’s help). Dadadoo was charismatic and inspirational back then, according to Syringeon. The scientists found out, and threatened them with an ultimatum. And everyone except Dadadoo chickened out and complied. So Bouncelia trapped Dadadoo and all of her children in her pouch, intending to keep them there forever. Meanwhile Syringeon, guardian of the mind control staff, took a chunk of it and went to the lower levels, where he proceeded to become an evil dictator (his fucked up evil laws are right outside the lab doors). Then we arrive, coincidentally at the same time Bittergiggle decided to make his move which he could’ve without us because if you look he straight up knocked Toadster out when he approached Bouncelia (you can find him unconscious in the middle of the room), and kept listening to Toadster and Banban and Syringeon, who all have knocked us out and kidnapped us, about things that honestly did not need to involve us (the first time we actually see Dadadoo he tells us right away that he wasn’t after us, and if you talk to Syringeon in his lab a few times before heading into town he’ll also tell you that), because they couldn’t do their own dirty work.
I kinda figured the naughty ones may have been made using samples of Bouncilia and Daddadoo's DNA, since thry look like leeches and rabbits mixed into one (despite Bouncilia being a kankaroo but I digress)
The idea that Syringeon helped in making them, potentially by mixing the DNA together in the first place and making them in the likeness of Daddadoo and Bouncilia actually makes a lot of sense too. Since I doubt the mascots would be capable of reproduction by natural means
