We know Wesker got taller but WHY did that happen?

well the prototype virus aided him. i don’t think his growth happened suddenly, but i do think it was gradual

wesker is 6’0 in both code veronica and re0. both in the same year as when he had injected himself with the virus.

though around 6 years later wesker is around 6’7. this is even stated in the wiki. wesker’s height SHOULD be 6’3 but he is closer to 6’7 to look more intimating.

wesker also maintains this height in re4r, seeming much taller than his other iterations.

i do believe this is capcom’s way of truly showing how the virus affected him, given he hadn’t grown too much in the original games and then actually changing his size even in re5
